Thanks to all of you who attended our Tara Puja last Friday morning. Puja is a time of joyfulness, generosity and appreciation. Offerings are are made to express our thanks to Tara’s active presence within our sangha.
One error on the monthly calendar — Sojong will be completed on Wednesday, March 11th, from 6:00-7:30pm (not Tuesday, March 10th). All those who have taken refuge are invited, and encouraged to attend. This is a time of mending our vows.
One of my students, Yodron (Beth Hopwood) will be leading the first Walking Meditation Practice at the Desert Rose Labyrinth at 3:00pm on Saturday, March 21st. Walking meditation is a part of many different spiritual traditions. Here, we combine mindfulness with movement, and do it within the spectacular surroundings of our home. All interested people are welcome to participate in this practice of silent, mindful movement.
Then, on March 24th, all students who have taken refuge are reminded to do their Sojong practice at home, to mend their vows at the time of the New Moon.
Many thanks and blessings to all of you! I hope that you’ll find something to meet your needs and interests. We’re a small sangha, with a very sturdy root, and you’re all a part of it.
